About

  • The Parashar lake is located at a height of 2730 m above sea level and the way there calls for a panoramic trek followed by a relaxing camping experience. With deep blue waters, the lake is held sacred to the sage Parashar as legends say it to be his meditative place. Surrounded by snow-capped peaks and looking down on the fast-flowing river Beas, the lake makes for one of the unparallel camping places in India.
  • One would be to cherish the local culture as the trail of trekking to the Lake goes through villages as well. The trek offers a 180-degree view of the Dhauladhar, PirPanjal, and Kinnaur mountain ranges. This destination bags a sweet spot under the list of best camping places in India for Delhi/NCR residents.
