  • Deoriatal Chandrashila is one of the most popular and loved treks in the Garhwal Himalayas. A trek that offers majestic views of Himalayas and valleys, alluring views of rare Himalayan birds, blossoms, and a serene environment. The duration of the trek is 3 days and is perfect for weekends and extended long weekends. The trek amazes all your senses from its beauty and experiences.
  • The highlights of this trek include magnificent views of Mt. Chaukhamba, Tungnath temple (the World's highest Lord Shiva temple), and scenic Deoriatal Lake. Experience small treks, sightseeing, group lunch, group dinners, and musical bonfires here with lots of fun and talks with our group. then we will go to the Sari village and enjoy the rest of the day there. One can be a nature lover or a pro trekker or a photographer or a bird-watching amateur, the trek disappoints none.

What you will do

Day 0: Departure from Delhi

  • Departure from Delhi around 9:00 PM.

Day 1: Reach Chopta & Check in to Camps

  • Cross Rishikesh early in the morning and amidst the way to Chopta.
  • We will reach Chopta around lunch crossing Devprayag and Rudraprayag.
  • Relax at the campsite.
  • Dinner and a bonfire in the hills.
  • Overnight stay in Camps in Chopta.

Day 2: Trek from Chopta to Tungnath Chandrashila

  • Wake up at 5 and start our 5 km trek from Chopta to Tunganath and Chandrashila
  • Explore the Tunganath temple (highest temple of Lord Shiva in the world)
  • Discover the scenic beauty of the summit.
  • We descend back to Chopta through the same route
  • We stay at Camps near Chopta.
  • Dinner and bonfire in Camps.

Day 3: Chopta to Sari to Deoriatal & Back to Delhi

  • Head our way to SARI (starting point of our trek).
  • We start our 2.3 km trek to Deoriatal.
  • Enjoy the bird's-eye view of Sari village.
  • Relax at the shelter in the village
  • Reach Deoriatal, crossing the scenic forest of Rhododendron and Oak.
  • Enjoy the views and the starry night if the weather is clear.
  • Trek down to Sari and start your return journey to Delhi.
  • Reach Delhi early the next morning.
