About


  • The village of Bir (elevation: 1400m), located in the Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh India, is internationally famous as the base for some of the best paragliding in the world. The take-off point at Billing, 14km up a winding road from Bir and 1000m higher.
  • Experienced paragliders fly as far as Dharamshala, Mandi, and Manali from here. Bir is also an important centre of the Tibetan exile community: the lower half of the village is known as Tibetan Colony and there are several Buddhist monasteries and institutes in and around Bir, some of which attract numbers of foreigners for courses and retreats.

What you will do


Day 0: Departure from Delhi

  • Gather and report at Kashmere Gate Metro Station at 6:00 PM and meet the Trip Leader.
  • Depart for Bir around 6:30 PM in the evening by Bus/traveller.
  • Overnight journey Delhi to Bir.

Day 1: Bir Local Sightseeing

  • Reach Bir by the morning. Check-in at the Bir camp-site.
  • After breakfast & a little rest you will go for local Bir Sightseeing (Chokling monastery, waterfall trek & local market exploration).
  • You will return back to camp-site and refresh yourself with evening snacks and tea.
  • Enjoy Bonfire with music and Dinner at night.

Day 2: Fly Like a Bird (Paragliding)

  • Wake up early morning, have breakfast
  • Start your drive to Billing take Off Point which is the second highest take-off point in the world.
  • After reaching, get ready to FLY like a bird, take off and enjoy some beautiful minutes of your life in the sky.
  • You may enjoy cycling if time permits.
  • Board the vehicle early in the evening and reach Delhi next day early morning.

  • 1 heavy Thick jacket/down jacket

  • At least 2 long pants (trek pants and cargo pants are favourable)
  • 4 sets of undergarments

  • A small towel
  • A rain jacket or a poncho
  • Above-the-ankle waterproof and breathable hiking boots with good grip

Important COVID-19 Guidelines


  • Due to the outbreak of COVID-19, everyone will be tested for body temperature daily.
  • Please maintain sufficient distance while using the common area
  • Always sanitise your hands before using any common area amenities
  • Regular sanitisation of the property will be done on regular intervals to ensure safety and hygiene.
  • Keep wearing your mask while travelling nearby.

Property Rules


  • All the bookings are strictly subject to confirmation of payments.
  • No Boarding without valid government ID proof.
  • We do not provide any travel or other insurance policy covering the expenses of accident, sickness, loss or theft due to any reason.
  • Change in the itinerary is subject to weather, traffic, road or any other conditions, any extra expense in that case to be borne by the customer only.
  • We reserve the right to change the schedule/itinerary of the trip in any condition and no refund will be given in this situation.
  • Trip will be postponed for the coming weekend if the number of people is below 10.
  • We do not allow smoking in the bus and we reserve the right to terminate your trip on the spot on the grounds of misconduct or misbehaviour, no refund in such situations.
  • Any damage in the camp or hotel premises by any individual will be charged from him/her only.
  • We will not be responsible for any injury during any activity, or these kinds of miss-happenings. 

Cancellation Policy


  • 100% refund will be given in case we Cancel the trip.
  • No refund will be given in case of Natural Obstacles.
  • 50% cancellation charges, 15 days prior to Departure date.
  • 100% cancellation charges, 7 days prior to Departure date.

What type of accommodation will be provided if I’m travelling solo?

It completely depend on what type of accommodation you are choosing while making the booking (double occupancy, triple, quadruple, etc.) You’ll be sharing the room/camp with your fellow travellers.

What precautions are taken to ensure the safety of the group from COVID exposure?

The trips leader, commute partners and our hosts are taking all the required measure to the safety of the travellers from sanitising the stays and vehicles regularly to doing the regular temperature checks of the staff.

Can I cancel my trip?

Can I bring my child/children on the trip?

Our trips usually have an intense trekking included so it is is advised to not to bring any ward with you on the trips.
