Sainj Valley, a hidden treasure in the Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh, is a pleasant surprise for every traveler. It is for backpackers wanting to explore unknown and unseen beautiful places of Himachal. The serene nature, valleys, and meadows of Sainj will charm you off your feet.
It is located in the lower areas of the Great Himalayan National Park (GHNP). Best known for its natural beauty, meadows, temples, and trekking opportunities, Sainj Valley mirrors the unparalleled allure of Kashmir and also of Khajjiar.
Shangarh is the village in Sainj that is the primary tourist attraction. This village is in the buffer zone of the Great Himalayan National Park. It is best known for its grass meadows and natural beauty. The Shangarh village resembles Khajjiar near Dalhousie but is a much more extensive version of it.
All in all Sainj valley is a great destination for offbeat lovers, which gives you the pure Himachali vibes pouring in the peace, away from the crowd!

What you will do

Day 0: Departure from Delhi in the evening

Departure from Delhi | Reporting Time: 7:00 pm

Day 1: Arrive at Shangarh | Explore the Local Culture

Reach Sangarh in the morning and check in to the room.
This is a leisure day to get connected with nature.
Explore the enchanting meadows of Sangarh and visit the famous Shangchul Mahadev Temple.
In the evening enjoy a bonfire and conclude with dinner & an overnight stay.

Day 2: Trek to Pundrik Rishi Lake & Temple

We wake to a scrumptious breakfast & gear on to go on a small and beautiful trek to Pundrik Rishi Lake. The lake is near the village's Upper Neahi and has a small hike of 3-4 km.
Passing through the enticing meadows reach Pundrik Lake. We will enjoy the beauty of our surroundings.
Return to Homestay by evening, followed by dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Visit Bharshangarh Waterfall & Village

After breakfast, we will Checkout from homestay and start our hike to Bharshagarh waterfall of 2-3 km and also make a pit stop at the Bharshagarh Village.
By evening. We will start the return journey to Aud to board the bus.
Reach Delhi the next day morning.

Important COVID-19 Guidelines

Due to the outbreak of COVID-19, everyone will be tested for body temperature daily.
Please maintain sufficient distance while using the common area
Always sanitize your hands before using any common area amenities
Regular sanitization of the property will be done at regular intervals to ensure safety and hygiene.
Keep wearing your mask while traveling nearby.

Property Rules

Confirmation of all the bookings will be done on 100% payment.
No boarding without valid govt. approved ID.
We do not have any insurance policy covering the expenses for accident, sickness, loss due to theft, or any other reason. Guest are advised to seek such Insurance in advance.
Factors such as weather, road conditions, physical abilities of the participants, etc. may dictate itinerary change. We reserve the right to change any schedule in the interest of safety, comfort, and general well-being.
We do not allow smoking during travel on the bus. Travel Devils reserve the right to discontinue your trip at any point on the grounds of misconduct and no refund will be made under such circumstances.
Departure time is fixed as given and it's on you to update your status to the trip coordinator. The trip coordinator will also try to call you at least thrice but Travel Devils are not responsible for calls not getting connected.
The person making reservations is responsible for any damages caused to room/camp furnishings and fixtures and is liable to pay for the same.
Please note that after the finalization of the Tour/service Cost, if there are any Hike in entrance fees of monuments/museums, taxes, fuel cost, or guide charges by the Govt of India, the same would be charged as extra.
In the Hilly Terrain, it will be the discretion of the driver to put off the systems of the vehicle like the air conditioner, sound system. The focus will always be on safety.
In case of any injuries/illness during the trip/activity, Travel Devils as a Tour operator or any of our local staff will not be responsible.
It is understood that any expenses (e.g. hotels, meals, transport, telephone calls, repairing of vehicle, etc) relating to the unscheduled extensions like natural calamity, break down of the vehicle, any other delays which are beyond our control will be borne by the passengers and no refund will be given in any such scenario.
All the sightseeing is strictly subjected to weather conditions and guidelines issued by the government or local authorities.
During Covid-19, all the rules and regulations will be followed as defined by the state govt. Any extra cost in following such rules like isolation/quarantine or admission in hospital for illness during the trip or any transport cost or treatment to follow isolations rules will be borne by the customer.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation initiated before 10 days from travel date: 50% of the advance would be refunded.
Cancellation initiated before 5-10 days from travel date: 25% of the advance would be refunded.
Cancellation initiated less than 5 days from travel date: non-refundable.
There is no refund for no-shows.
No refund for early check-outs.
Any meal, activity, or service not availed by the guest will not be adjusted in the package cost and will not be refunded at any cost.

Note: Due to the grave financial crisis in the travel industry caused by the pandemic and the countrywide lockdown, we have imposed stricter policies on Trip cancellations due to Political unrest or State Govt. guidelines or extremely poor weather, or unsafe river or environmental conditions. We will be providing a full credit but no refund in such circumstances. You will be able to use the credit amount (equal to the booking amount) for any future booking with Travel Devils.
