Bir Billing is a gem of a town nestled in the state of Himachal Pradesh in Northern India. Bir Billing is a popular hotspot in Joginder Nagar Valley for adventure sports such as paragliding, treks, and also the hub for meditation. One will experience the ascendancy of Tibetan culture in Bir due to the paramount Tibetan settlement.
Bir claims as one of the best spots in the world for paragliding. The take-off site is called Billing and the landing site is called Bir and the overall altitude change is around 800m. There are quite a few magnetic cafes dotting the town, serving delicious food to devour.
You can go for short hikes, tour the monasteries, ride the nearby Jogindernagar-Pathankot Narrow Gauge train or spend a day hopping around the coolest cafes in Bir. The town of Bir is also an important center of spiritual studies and meditation, maybe your wanderlust soul would find peace there? Definitely!
