How much internet speed will I get?

The internet speed completely depends upon the numbers of user connected, usually the speed ranges between 5 mbps to 30 mbps.

With whom will I be sharing the dorm with?

If you are booking a dorm than you will be sharing it with people just like you, entrepreneurs, freelancers, remote employees, traveling enthusiasts, etc.

Will I get a dedicated work station for my work?

No, the work stations or common area are free for all and are available on first come first serve basis.

Are meals included in the price?

No, meals are not included in the prices but you can get homely meals at very affordable prices starting at 150 Rs a day.

What precautions are taken to ensure the safety of the group from COVID exyure?

Yes, you will receive an e-mail right after booking the session with all the joining details and joining instructions.

Is transport included in the price? Can it be arranged on request?

No, the transport is not included in the price as most of our user travels on their own but if you need need we can arrange the transport as well.

The Mojo property was founded in 1994 by Drs Sujata and Anurag Goel. Sujata has a PhD. from the Botany Dept of Delhi University and Anurag has completed his studies (PhD. in Molecular Biology) in Toronto, Canada. Their combined scientific knowledge and experiences will illuminate a series of valuable insights into the ecology of this region and the culture of its people, and their hospitality will scale up your desire to visit again.

All the cottages are distinct and specially designed with nature’s vistas and comfort in mind and, over the years adorned with some lovely paintings by various artist friends. They are all set in lush green natural surroundings and powered by eco-friendly 12V solar lighting.

You would be delighted to know that the income from the Rainforest Retreat funds the activities of the WAPRED Research Foundation (Worldwide Association for Preservation and Restoration of Ecological Diversity), an environmental NGO. A paradise for environmentalists and nature-enthusiasts indeed!

Important COVID-19 Guidelines

Guests must bring with them vaccination certificates or RT PCR tests done 72 hours before travel. These are required by the District administration also and will be asked for at the check posts at the district borders.
Mandatory to wear masks and maintain distance while interacting with other guests and our staff.
Guided treks are optional and will be conducted ONLY if Guests wear masks. Alternatively, we have maps of the Plantation and surrounding areas to facilitate self-guided walks and treks.

Each cottage has 2 independent bedroom units. The price shown is for double occupancy for 1 room.

The Rainforest Retreat is located ~10km north of Madikeri town—near Galibeedu village in Kodagu (Coorg) district of Karnataka state.
Distance from Bangalore - 250km (~6 hours by road)
Distance from Mysore - 120km (~3 hours by road)
Distance from Mangalore - 140km (~4 hours by road)
Taxi pickup can be arranged from any of these locations.
Please remember that if you are traveling by public bus, it will take a little longer to reach the property.

Cancellation Policy

If the cancellation is initiated 2 weeks before the date of Check-in: 90% Refund.
If the cancellation is initiated 48 hours- 2 weeks before the date of Check-in: 50% Refund.
If the cancellation is initiated within 48 hours date of Check-in: Non-refundable.
