If you are lucky enough to catch a full moon night at Triund then Oh man! you just had the most amazing moon sight of your life.

Triund is a calm and an attracting trekking destinations in Himachal, India. The trek leads to a platform from where you can not only see the mighty Dhaulaadhar ranges but also you can make wishes while looking at the shooting stars at clear nights. It also gets a decent amount of snowfall starting at the end of the year till the mid of February.

The trek is of 6.5 km which can be easily covered within 4-5 hours, it is a combination of smooth and some steep trekking trails passing through some tall oak trees and lush green mountain (Cotton white snow in winters). The best time of travel and trek to Triund is between March to July although the trek is open from March to December. (It is closed during the month of January till February end due to heavy snowfall)

Triund has one of the most mesmerising panoramic views, from the top you can spot an amazing sunrise and a super amazing sunset with an awesome sky full of bright and glittering stars. Being there will make you feel like sitting in the nest of mighty Dhaulaadhar Ranges of Himalayas.

At the top you will get a good amount of cold at night and in the morning you will experience some breathtaking cold breezes which will make your day more delightful, it is good to be prepared for the a little bad weather as you can’t predict the winds.

Must Try: Food they make for you at the top usually it is Dal-Chawal and Matar-Paneer with Chapatis (Cereals with Rice and Indian cheese curry and Indian Breads)
