  • The village of Bir (elevation: 1400m), located in the Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh India, is internationally famous as the base for some of the best paragliding in the world. The take-off point at Billing is 14km up a winding road from Bir and 1000m higher.
  • Experienced paragliders fly as far as Dharamshala, Mandi, and Manali from here. Bir is also an important center of the Tibetan exile community: the lower half of the village is known as Tibetan Colony and there are several Buddhist monasteries and institutes in and around Bir, some of which attract numbers of foreigners for courses and retreats.
  • Bir Billing is the highest Paragliding destination of India situated in the heart of the Himalayas near Dharamshala in Himachal Pradesh. Bir is a noted center for ecotourism, spiritual studies, and meditation. If you are an adventure lover you must visit this place and you will definitely love it. You can do Paragliding in Bir, Hang gliding, Mountain biking, Camping in Bir Billing, trekking, Shopping, and lots of other adventures here. Bir Billing is also famed for its soulful Tibetian monasteries and peaceful settings.


What you will do


Day 0: Departure From Delhi

  • Departure on Friday from Delhi around 8:00 PM.

Day 1: Arrival in Bir | Bonfire Night

  • We will reach Bir early morning.
  • Check-in in our hotel/hostel/camp, freshen up.
  • Have breakfast.
  • Enjoy the nature walk post-lunch, our evening will be filled with more fun as a bonfire and dinner await.

Day 2: Paragliding in Bir | Departure

  • Wake up with the mesmerizing view in the morning with breakfast in front of the mountains.
  • Prepare yourself for India's highest paragliding site, glide like an eagle.
  • Enjoy lunch at a local café.
  • Board the bus in the evening and we will be back to Delhi with a bag full of thrilling memories.

What type of accommodation will be provided if I’m travelling solo?

It completely depend on what type of accommodation you are choosing while making the booking (double occupancy, triple, quadruple, etc.) You’ll be sharing the room/camp with your fellow travellers.

What precautions are taken to ensure the safety of the group from COVID exposure?

The trips leader, commute partners and our hosts are taking all the required measure to the safety of the travellers from sanitising the stays and vehicles regularly to doing the regular temperature checks of the staff.

How is the quality of food and what type of food are we going to get?

The food served during the trip is delicious home cooked 100% vegetarian (Non-veg available on extra charges)

Yes, all our trips are couple friendly and the trips leaders are engaging who will keep engaging the group in ice breaking activities.

Can I bring my child/children on the trip?

Our trips usually have an intense trekking included so it is is advised to not to bring any ward with you on the trips.

I’m traveling solo, can I join the trip?

Yes, absolutely! As a matter of fact 40% of our groups comprises of solo travellers.
